We clearly see in some examples in this movie how important it is to be prepared for interviews, specially in jobs that we really want to get.In the movie, Andrea (protagonist) get the opportunity of having an interview with the most admirable person in the fashion design business, she goes unprepared and gets short on words when trying to explain her skills, but at last she ends the interview with honesty and gets hired.
Being prepared for an interview is your first foot on the door inside the job, you want to know their location , ethics, how they deal with business, dress code and as much as information you can gather before the interview.
First day on the job can go wrong obviously, like it was mentioned you're in the hot seat, everyone will look at you and see your reactions to the working environment. Just be always listening and taking care of your duties.
